The easiest thing I could do to make more sales online was retargeting. Retargeting is simple - Just run ads to all the people who visit your website and remind them of the offer. This works because of one simple truth about customer behavior – Nobody buys the first time round. Everyone needs to see the product 2-3 times before they make a purchase decision. They have to make the journey from a cold prospect to a warm lead and then a buyer. If you are in front of them only once they will never go through that journey and only a small percentage will ever convert. Just put the pixel of every single ad platform on your landing pages. 🩸Facebook 🩸Google 🩸Twitter 🩸Quora 🩸Reddit 🩸… I do retargeting on every platform possible. It’s a no-brainer because it’s effective and it's cheap. Yes, retargeting is usually very cheap when compared to other advertising. This is because the prospects are reasonably warm and it’s easy to get them to click and respond. You get a higher click rate, and the platform gives you cheaper clicks. Here are the places where I’ve run retargeting ads 🩸Facebook 🩸Instagram 🩸Twitter 🩸Google.com 🩸Google display network 🩸GMail 🩸YouTube 🩸Quora 🩸Reddit Retargeting works even if you have few visitors. If all you get are a few dozen visitors each day, that’s okay. Build up your pixel and let that audience mature. When you get those numbers, hit it hard! Do you retarget yet?

Totally agree! Retargeting works too for offline behaviour. Anyone physically visiting your store might just be passing by and not ready to make a purchase yet, up until they see that ad!

Would you call this marketing or sales? Also, does this work for B2B or only B2C?
