I created a Digital clock called, Flip Clock. It is inspired by a famous social media clock called fliqlo. I published Flip Clock on 25th December. For the first few days it was getting roughly 100 views a day but on 30th December a major Spanish new site promoted my clock on their website. That gave a full boost and now I'm getting 600 view per day and still counting. So how a simple clock got so many views? * This clock solves a problem. As I said this clock was inspired by fliqlo which is only available for mac and it is a screensaver. So not many people can use this clock because of OS limitations. So to solve this problem I created a simple web version so that it cannot be just accessed by mac but all the devices from Mobile Phone, Tablets to Linux OS. * It's simplicity The clock does only one thing.. Which is to show time 🕛. Plus added a new feature - Light Mode Lessons * No problem is small or big, If you truely solve a problem, you will definitely be rewarded. Are the views enough? How do you monetize the traffic?

@bogomep yes I was just expecting like a few 100 views for a clock but fortunately, it performed well. I'm not monetizing it because I think ads will be annoying. so I'm just building community on social media by redirecting to my website.

@indev Let me rephrase my question. Do you have any plans on keeping the visitors to your product and how. Because the traffic will stop at some point :)

Simple and elegant, Tanmay! Curious about one thing: Does this also somehow prevent the system from going to sleep?
