Have you observed that it is increasingly common for new launches to not be featured?

Yesterday, my team launched our Christmas 3D animation page, but it was not featured. 🔗https://www.producthunt.com/post... I understand that being featured is not guaranteed. However, what really confused me is that more than five of my indie friends who launched their projects in the last few weeks also did not get featured on the homepage. This is unusual based on my previous experience. So, is it true that new launches are featured less frequently compared to previous times?
