I've been considering influencer marketing for Draftly and have already started reaching out to many but I'm still unsure. I see that many have gotten followers by shady ways and prompting my product to that audience wont yield any positive result in terms of customers. Have influencers helped promote your product successfully, and how did you find the right ones?

Hey, I have just started with my product kosmodrom.work, but before that I was in charge of marketing in several global startups and worked with influencers A LOT.
From my experience, influencers were a huge selling power 5-7 years ago, when many of them were just starting and their recommendations still had a lot of trust from the audience.
In my later projects the results were controversial, it took much more effort and a more personalized approach, my team had to really involve with content creators to make sure our collaboration looks organic and trustworthy. The rates from influencers has skyrocketed, and the results are unpredictable.
So my strategy with my current product is to use influencers first of all for brand awareness and visibility, and not to put too much expectations in user acquisition on them.
