If so, where did you go and what did you get up to? Was it productive, or just for fun? Would you do it again?

I went on my first workation this year in June. Our whole company went to Mallorca and stayed in a gorgeous villa close to the beach. Amazing team bonding experience. We balanced intense productivity sessions with relaxing on the beach, playing games, and lots of drinking and good food. Would absolutely do it again.

@software_guy It definitely was! Have you ever been on a workation, or would you ever want to go?

I had my first workation experience this year during the summer. It was very new to me, but I was gladly surprised. It was an opportunity to meet and connect with my team in a new way. I got the chance to talk to those I don't work with very closely and get to know them more personally. I would love to repeat the experience!

I went on an impromptu (fun trip) workation to Goa. Did not sleep the first night and attended a work call at 8 AM the next day. Used to work in the afternoon, party at night, and on/off sleeping in the morning. Took me another week of normal work to get back into a working groove. Realized that a workation should be more work and just a little bit of fun. The next time I am only going to work in a good location. Lol. :P

@adityasinghrajput Haha it's all about balance! I also couldn't stay up every night partying with everyone. I don't function without sleep 🙈. Where would you want to go work next time?

yes many times. The best one was when I sent to India for 2mos. It was breathtaking. Productive and also very life changing, and yes I will do it again.

I am a digital nomad so my life is a little bit of a workation. I really love it, my productivity has only improved with it. I really like context-switching because it gives me many opportunities for reinventing myself!
Catherine Norris
@anton_von_hunerbein That's amazing! You're living the dream. Where's your favorite location to work?
Anton von Hunerbein
@catherine_norris My mums house, I like being part of her community and being able to hug her when possible! Other then that i am a fan of thailands beaches :)
