Curious about both platform experience from a user but also curious about your own personal experience - ie: if you engaged more frequently you found retention was better - if you put out 3 videos and 2 take home assignments engagement was the best etc

Building a membership community is like dating—you’ve got to keep the spark alive. For me, regular engagement was key; think of it as sending flowers and chocolates. Consistent interaction, like weekly live sessions and interactive challenges, kept retention high. And hey, just like Her Ideal Match, understanding what your audience truly values can make all the difference.
Definitely, consistent engagement is key! I've found live Q&As, member spotlights, and exclusive content work well. Also critical is understanding your audience and catering to what they want. Tools like Circle.so or Mighty Networks can help streamline community management too.
Engagement is key for sure. I found having a strong onboarding sequence to welcome new members and get them involved right away makes a big difference in retention. Also gamification with points, badges, leaderboards etc. Oh and a referral program to incentivize members to invite others. Those have been the most impactful for the communities I've built.
