13 years ago today (on May 22, 2010) a programmer named Laszlo Hanyecz bought two Papa John’s pizzas for 10,000 bitcoins, which became the first recorded commercial transaction using bitcoins 🌐
He paid a total of $25 for two pizzas, which would be equivalent to $268.5 million today 🤯

That's an incredible piece of Bitcoin history! It's mind-boggling to think that two pizzas, which were worth only $25 at the time, would be worth an astonishing $268.5 million today. It's a testament to the tremendous growth and value appreciation of Bitcoin over the past 13 years. It just goes to show the potential of cryptocurrencies as a store of value.
