I'm not writing this article using ChatGPT so you will see some grammar mistakes.
Last year I sold my first SaaS project at $190000 which is a lot of money for me. I live in India so you can imagine the amount.
If you want to take exit from your SaaS or any other online business make sure you follow these rules.
1. Automation: Make sales, customer support, Customer onboarding etc automatic. For example instead of facebook ads you can focus on organic marketing so sales keep coming.
Customer support and onboarding is easy these days.
2. Documentation: Make sure that the buyer can easily jump into your project and know all crucial things as soon as possible.
Don't make your business complicated.
3. Reduce Churn Rate: I don't think so I have to write about it.
4. Register LLC: Make sure you register separate LLC so you can pass bank, stripe, PayPal accounts to the new buyer
What I'm doing in these days.
I thing that I have learned from my past project is offering your product for free can be great way to test the product and attract users.
So I'm making free products. Here are these
Listenmonster: Free transcription powered by Whisper
Submagic.Pro: Free Video AI Caption Generator
Basically, ListenMonster can generate subtitles and transcription. However Submagic.pro will add video captions. It is created especially for short content. Later on, I plan to add more templates.
