For solo launchers - how do you prep your launch?

Most people here, and or at least a good sum - I'm sure, have a few people working with them or a whole team of people from all relevant fields, working towards the launch. Then there are solo indie hackers who are developing something in their free time, desperately trying to do full-time and barely making it to launch day. Since I'm a part of that last group, and I'm working towards my first launch - I'm basically trying to gauge what the list of absolutely mandatory steps are. So what would one-man-army type launches require? A good hunter? A pre-launch? A social media presence? I'm a little clueless on all of this, so I'm looking forward to what you guys think. Have a great day!

A good hunter can save you some work. https://upvote-bell.com/leaderboard is a good place to find one. You might also consider going for a frill launch. You can check out my template for more guidance: https://www.tetriz.io/blog/produ...

@fabian_maume Thank you, I've actually been doing that for a few hours now, excellent work by the way 😄

Just spend some time on PH before you launch, build up the community around your product, engage in the discussions, expand your network on Twitter and LinkedIn, help other founders and they will help you as well. It takes time, you have to invest at least 5-8 weeks to prepare for the launch. https://typoapp.io/blog/how-to-b..., https://streamlabs.com/content-h...

I think as a solo developer that the launch will go well if the project have a wow effect. Also if the launch will go bad Is not a problem if you can't reach people on that platform the look other platforms
