Not exactly a success story but a positive outcome and lots of experience. 1. Stats first: 190+ upvotes, 50+ comments and reviews 300 visits to our website two sales ($1,400 total) which is surprising. Our products are expensive and not the impulse kind of buy. I guess the coupon helped. 2. ProductHunt and B2B products are not the best fit. Something that targets indie makers/founders has a better chance of success. The product that we launched was PHPRunner: https://xlinesoft.com/phprunner/... 3. It is a great way to connect with your community and customers. Most of the support came from likely-minded Twitter followers. I expect our existing customers to chime in more but it was a big ask. Customers left amazing reviews though that is a huge plus. 4. It was a great learning experience. I have learned that I need a much bigger network of makers/founders who are familiar with ProductHunt and what kind of value it offers. Something to work on. 5. I launched on Wednesday, a busy day. The winner had 600+ upvotes. If you are aiming for a badge, launch on weekend. 6. There is a bunch of ProductHunt checklists that are available. I liked this one the most: https://lucarestagno.notion.site... Happy hunting! You can connect with me on Twitter: https://twitter.com/phprunner

First of all, amazing stats - especially on a weekday. I would say that item #3, connecting with community and customers is especially important and a Product Hunt launch is sometimes the impetus for doing that essential outreach. Thank you for sharing.!

@albert_lin1 I agree. This is not the last launch we are doing and it helps to go through the whole routine.

B2B products can perform quite well on Product hunt. Wednesday is however a really high competition day, so I recommend not to go for it if you have less than 500 users to ask for support. Launching on Friday can however give good results even for early-stage B2B product: https://www.producthunt.com/post...

@fabian_maume #5 is totally not bad for a B2B product. I honestly didn't know what to expect and launched it in the hard mode.
