Few questions about being featured

As there is a lot of different information from different times, I'd like to ask a few questions about being featured as for today: - As I read that there is now information about being featured before the launch, how much time ahead it should be displayed, and at what point it is decided, especially taking into account that you can edit the post even just before the launch? - Are featured products decided by the algorithm or are some still hand-picked? Are there objective, measurable criteria or it goes by the vibes? For example, I encountered information that you need a video to be featured, but saw several featured products without a video. - Do only featured products take part in the initial few-hour order randomization on the main page, or other products also have a chance in that period to become featured? - Does a product that wasn't initially featured, but acquired more upvotes than one of the featured products, land on the featured page, or it doesn't matter?
