I recently got bit by the AI bug. Sat down one weekend and created a chrome extension that lets users talk to any website. Ask questions, summarize and what not. I then launched the product on Hacker News couple of weeks ago and the product was picked by 2 AI news letters. It has given me some traction and the feedback has been great so far. I am curious to know how the PH community thinks about this chrome extension. Here's the link if you want to try it out: https://chrome.google.com/websto...

That's a great idea! I'm installing it now to give it a try. Does this plugin work best on complex websites that don't make it easy to understand what they're about, like agency or product websites?

@alishahlakhani It absolutely does it. Saves you hours of reading. I'd love to get feedback on your experience.

Sounds like a brilliant concept; a Chrome extension that facilitates direct interaction with websites could revolutionize user experience, but how are you planning to handle the potential privacy concerns and technical complexities associated with AI-powered interpretation of user queries?

@wilsonsteph73 Valid point. The extension does not record any private data and only streams data that the user uses it on. However, if a user uses this on let's say a private dashboard, then that data will be streamed to Chat GPT. And this will be dangerous. I need to figure out way to be able to stop this from happening.
