Feedback needed: A marketplace to book tours and activities ๐ฎ๐ณ

Dear Product Hunters,
I would really appreciate your candid feedback on a product I'm working on since a year.
What:
A marketplace where tour operators can list their tours, and users can book them online.
Tried and tested, I know. What is different this time is this marketplace is aimed solely towards *Young Indians*, with close cooperation with the tour operators. Think GetYourGuide/Klook focusing only on Indian young professionals.
The idea came to me when I was in Indian Himalaya looking for activities and I couldn't find a single website that addresses this need.
I live outside India, so I have no real way to talk to the users, except online.
Who:
- I'm highly technical and can build the product with my skill set (website+mobile apps).
- My cousin who is on the ground trying to find market leads.
What I need to know is if this idea is viable. Any feedback, especially from users familiar with India would be awesome.
I've created a simple landing page with a signup form as well. Please feel free to roast it ๐ฅ

One quick feedback, I would replace the Lorem Ipsum image at Enjoy the trip, forget the hassles CTA with real tour text.

Isn't AIRBNB doing this ? With Airbnb experiences ?
Sounds like a good idea, plus points if you cater to college students in India.
College students look for tours which are cheap and are more willing to go trekking.
The way this industry works at the moment, is you go to a website, enter your destination and then get bombarded by calls from various travel agents.
Basically these travel agents have listed their services on a website. Eg: Travel Triangle, Thrillophilia
Now, to beat the competition, your biggest marketing strategy will be SEO. Focus on generating content that college students will love. Eg: How to take a trip to manali for 3 days with a budget of 5000 rupees. Here's our itinery.
You could create an AI bot using chatgpt to create custom itinerary based on budget and locations to visit.
I am a growth marketer and help young businesses get their first 1000 users.
Let me know if you need any more help.
Cheers and All the best๐
Thanks for the feedback!
My target audience is young professionals with disposable income (e.g. WITCH employees).
However I feel that I need to start at finding the seller side of this marketplace first and onboard operators first.
What do you reckon is the best way to find these tour operators?
Will SEO work or cold email or do I need boots on the ground for this?
@samfarmer I would say cold emails and cold calling. Focus on getting two or three sellers on board first. Start with only a few destinations. Add more once fhings get rolling.
In my experience, getting sellers isn't that hard, because it actually comes to them at no risk. You can negotiate for lower prices for your customers.
The tricky part will be attracting buyers. Have a great usp, you say you are targeting witch employees but most other sites are targeting them too. Craft a great usp first.
Instagram reels plus blog posts will get you your first customers.
I have worked on these before, and I do consulting calls if you are interested. Mail me at tejgarikapati@gmail.com
