Except for work, do you use AI to generate images or videos?

I often wonder, what are the needs of the people behind those exquisite AI arts?
To get work done?
Or is it just a hobby?
Or just want to feel the impact of AI?
What do they ultimately want? Spiritual satisfaction or material satisfaction?

I do it for fun and to understand how AI works

Yep, I've been playing around with Midjourney to generate cool sci-fi and fantasy images. It's really fun to see what it comes up with based on the prompts I give it. Also tried a bit of DALL-E 2 for more photorealistic stuff. The results are impressive and it's a great way to get a glimpse of how powerful these AI image generators are becoming. Haven't ventured into video generation yet though.
Yeah, I do sometimes. Outside of work, I've played around with AI to make fun images for social media or even little video clips for friends. It's pretty cool how easy it is getting. Though, I still prefer doing it myself when it comes to serious stuff.
I've used AI to create custom bedtime stories and matching visuals for my kids.
Yes! I use AI to create unique character designs for tabletop games. It adds so much personality to the campaigns.
AI helps me imagine travel destinations by turning vague ideas into beautiful mockups of places I dream about visiting.
I once used AI to generate a hilarious cartoon version of my dog.
To picture scenes or characters from my stories, I use artificial intelligence algorithms.
