No, and it shouldn't. Why bother about things you can't control?

Scientifically, changes in weather can influence neurotransmitter levels in the brain, particularly serotonin and dopamine, which are associated with mood regulation. Additionally, weather can also impact physical well-being, such as joint pain during cold, damp weather, which can indirectly affect mood.
While weather may influence mood, we can employ various methods to self-regulate and minimize its impact as much as possible.
Practice mindfulness, maintain social connections, make indoor space comfortable and inviting with warm lighting, one of you @max_avery mentioned in the comments section, prioritize self-care, etc.

@diana_iun you can't control your surrounding but you can control how you react
If I'm outside, yes. We're launching "Cascad3 - A decentralized inspiration-driven publishing platform" on Product Hunt soon. I would appreciate your support and feedback by clicking the "Notify Me" button to stay tuned and be the first to know when Cascad3 debuts on the stage.π

@yamisun That was so not smooth that I enjoyed it, I'll check and review your product, if you're willing to check and review mine: https://www.producthunt.com/prod... :)
@yamisun @ofir_kruvi Supported you. Best of luck for your launch! :)

Definitely!
When it was a heavy rain fall outside, maybe around 1.5 years back, I moved myself into various thoughts and imaginary worlds. I thought about a product or tool, which could surpass competitors and stand out as a unique one. I didn't have any idea how it could be done. But I put my ideas to my Software Architect and then with great team efforts, we launched the most intelligent security platform for web apps and APIs, which is far better than recent one. and it's completely FREE now.
So it was all mood that made us to lead - from ideation to product - due to heavy rainfall.

@sarrah_pitaliya so great!

Sometimes :D bad weather is better for working... you know... not many things to do outside :D
Ringly.io
It did, until I decided not to care about bad weather anymore.
The reason for that was because in the Netherlands (where I live) it turns out that it rains 10% of the time (=2.4 hours per day on average).
So now I can be outside when it rains without caringπ
@maurizioisendoorn I am also trying to protect myself from the bad weather.

Absolutely. When the weather is good, my mood reflects it as well. Nonetheless, I make an effort to maintain a positive mood even on bad weather days.
Same as you but I noticed that if you have a healthy routine and exercise regularly, you can stay energized no matter the weather. And that's key for building a startup.
@french_ninja agree with you
It does! But I also like rainy days or weeks when my calendar is packed. Then I don't have FOMO :D
IXORD
Yes, there are times when I feel comfortable working in rain or snow.
Certainly, weather influences mood, but it's all about perspective! Sunny days uplift me, perfect for outdoor adventures and to change the perspective for my projects, while gray, rainy ones offer a serene backdrop for introspection and creativity.
@natalie_trotsenko Exactly! Different weather brings different perspectives and opportunities for creativity and reflection.
Hunted Space
It really does! I cannot say it affects my productivity, because I love what I do no matter if it's rainy or sunny.
But I can clearly see how my whole personality changes when the sun is out (pretty rare thing when living in Finland!), for better, of course :)
@sandradjajic Absolutely! Sunnier days can definitely lift spirits, even in Finland's often cloudy weather.

100%, I wish it weren't the case. And seasonal affective disorder is very real for many people.

It absolutely does! Sometimes I feel like I'm working like a solar cell)
For sure
I make use of red light panels a lot in the winter months
@max_avery It feels warm! So smart!

The heat makes me unpleasant lol
@laura_dovalina28 Sending you some refreshment
I don't mind if it's sunny or cloudy or even rainy (of course i prefer sunny over the other two), but the one thing i don't like is cold weather. Me and my cousin make this "joke" where we say that we love to lay in the sun and absorb the heat like two lizards.
@luka_brzin Hahahahahahaha I can't stand the cold either.
1000%. I hate anything that isn't hot and sunny.
@unclephilosei Enjoy every sunny day!
