Absolutely, email marketing still works! It's a powerful tool for building relationships with customers, driving engagement, and generating sales when done correctly.

Email marketing is like a timeless classic - it may not be as flashy as the new trends, but it still knows how to get the job done efficiently!

Rumour has it. Every few years the efficiency of email comes into question. If done properly it's ok. Think about it in reverse, how many emails do you end up buying from, what types of things do you respond to and buy from?

@njrobb Honestly, I only check the transactional emails and recently I am looking at every email because I want to stat marketing emails for my product ;)

It sure does, not always in the way its intended to though, from the perspective of the goals we aim for.

@anurag_mehta Can you please explain it with an example?

@nishi_bhavsar Think of those humorous emails you get from Zomato. They're not just trying to make you hungry, or give you the FOMO for a dineout deal (that 'is' the goal, but not the 'only' goal), they're trying to connect with you on a personal level, to associate their brand with fun and good food experiences. They want to know what makes 'you' tick when it comes to food and ordering in. This way, you don't just order food right away, but quite often they do make you laugh (smirk) and 'think' about your next meal (making a positive and lasting impact). That's the power of directly conversing and connecting with your customers, via email that is. It's about building relationships, leading to loyalty and lasting engagement, not just making sales.
