Does Apple have an AI play?

Apple seems to be the only IT giant that so far hasn’t released anything related to AI.
For sure they must have something in the works, but their attention seems to be primarily directed at other areas, such as virtual/augmented reality, with the recent release of VisionPro. It seems that they do not invest much in AI at the moment. For example, speech recognition works much better in ChatGPT compared to Siri, and it is not even the core feature of ChatGPT, but is arguably the most essential feature of Siri.
Is Apple going to miss out on the AI revolution, similar to how Microsoft completely missed the last two digital revolutions (internet and smartphone)?

Apple actively researches AI but hasn't launched a public consumer-facing product yet. They focus on user privacy and on-device processing, integrating AI into existing products like Siri and Face ID.
