Not yet - planning on doing so. I have had an influx of users a couple of years ago when an app of mine from that time got featured in a video on a YouTube channel with almost 2 million subscribers. It's insane how much impact it has. It was one of those "What's on my phone" videos.
@bjarnbronsveld can you send the URL of that channel?
    Sandra Idjoski
We started exploring the option to do so. We had a random review channel talk about our product and got a crazy number of users from just that one video, so we thought why not be more intentional about it?

@sandra_idjoski hat's interesting, what kind of influencer did you opt for? Just completely random, nothing to do with your product?
    Sandra Idjoski
@nuno_ms_reis We generally went with people who do topics that are closely related to what we're doing. It felt like that give us the best chance of them being interested in what we're doing, but also looked to reach out to creators that weren't too huge already.
    Nuno Reis
@sandra_idjoski Ok, so a middle sized influencer so you are also not lost in the middle of the noise of a too big an audience.

We recently started to work with a few as well. It still needs to be clear how much value we get overall, but it feels like an excellent way to reach the audience, which is potential customers.

@rishi_bhargava2 Do you have a preference for channels? Youtube? Instagram? Twitter?
@rishi_bhargava2 Can you share links Rishi?
    HyunGun Jung
@rishi_bhargava2 Wow youtube sounds great! Did you give the Youtuber specific guidance on the video? Just trying to get a picture of how the negotiation process went.
    Rishi Bhargava
@jack_jung @alara_akcasiz We are trying out an agency that works with influencers. We had to provide some guidance on vide and even provide sample code (we a re a developer tool).
    Rishi Bhargava
@jack_jung for our product at this stage - we are starting with YouTube.

πŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈ Can I add something to the question? Does anyone have experience with affiliate websites or agencies?
    Colin Mathews
@jack_jung Yeah I'm interested in hearing people's experience with this, too. I feel like certain products are really well-positioned to work in an affiliate environment and I'm just starting to do research into platforms and strategies for making this happen.
@jack_jung I recently started working with an affiliate agency, and it's going well so far. If you have questions I can answer them.
    HyunGun Jung
@alara_akcasiz Oh that would be great! Thank you! Can I DM you on Twitter?
    HyunGun Jung
Alara, this is an excellent topic, and I'm glad I came across it! 😁 While I don't have any personal experience working with influencers in SasS, I have collaborated with influencers for consumer packaged goods. I'm wondering if there is a unique agency for this
    Nuno Reis
Not yet, but we would be interested in connecting with Growth domain specific influencers (so, not tiktokers and such, but domain drivers). Do you work with influencers or want to start? What can you share? :)
    Nuno Reis
@alara_akcasiz Which platform are you using to find them right now?
@nuno_ms_reis we work with influencers for the past months, but it's super hard to find.
@nuno_ms_reis I actually do it manually because tools start from $99 but I think I will pick a tool this week πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«

Depending on Business Type. In Consumer, it very much depends on the type of Influencer. Prices are insanely high and if you do not have the budget, it does not make sense. Direct Conversion Rate from Top Influencers are way below 0.1%, so you really need to close them with retargeting campaigns. In eCommerce, I mostly work with Content Creators that show the potential of going viral. That has proven to work pretty well. For SaaS I don't have too much experience.

Influence marketing is the biggest trend lately. But I think these days people don't tend to trust big influencers, so my best choice is micro influencers with around 1k followers.
    Nuno Reis
@aidai_zu that's interesting. 1k followers in which channels? Twitter? LinkedIn?
    Nuno Reis
@aidai_zu ah wow, and how are the results with those micro audiences?
@aidai_zu @nuno_ms_reis I think micro-influencers do well on those platforms only. Because Twitter, LinkedIn, etc eat your post with a super low impression. I believe their algorithm is super related with you follower count.
    Aida Zu
@nuno_ms_reis hey I mean Tiktok, IG and Youtube.

Instead of paying influencers, partner with them and offer them exclusive access to your product or service in exchange for their promotion. Build a genuine relationship for long-term success.
@axcer_team they generally don't want to have this kind of relation if they are not familiar with affiliate structures :(
I have and am working with a few SaaS influencers, what do you want to know?
@tejaswini_gopalaswamy Can you share their links?
    Tej Garikapati
We did work with influencers. Thus is where people go wrong. 1. Target huge accounts.( Don't start with them, they charge a ridiculous amount of money and the traffic isn't worth it) 2. Over complicate the way they promotw your product( being tooo creative about it) 1. Its better to target multiple small creators 15k to 45k followers range 2. Just ask them to guve a demo of your product. A video of them using your product... that's it Every brand needs creatirs but not every brand needs influencers.
    HyunGun Jung
@tej_sai Hello, Tej Thank you for sharing your experience. Can I ask you a couple questions related to that. How was the ROI for small creators? Which process of it took the most time for you? Finding the creators? Contacting them?
    Tej Garikapati
@jack_jung Contacting them definitely took a lot more time, than finding them. We spent 5000$ on four influencers to start. One of them went viral and we managed to get around 100000 clicks from them. You can try platforms like upfluence and stellar to begin with. Even when choosing small creators, choose the ones who are regular and are kind of under dogs. On of the influencers we worked with went onto have over a million followers and our product is still on his feed. So, it always helps. All the best! P.S. Sorry for so many typos in the previous answer..lol
    HyunGun Jung
@tej_sai Thank you for the reply, Tej Have you moved on to different platforms from Upfluence and Stellar? And did you manage to decrease the time contacting influencers? P.S no worries about the typos. I didn't even notice them 🀣
    Tej Garikapati
@jack_jung Upfluence is something will still go back too, but mostly free to find our own influencers now. Finding the influencers and making deals with each of them could be hard in the beginning and hence upfluence.
