Do you use Upwork to find work?

Question

I have a about 2-3 hours per day that I can dedicate to learning a new skill and I would like to try freelancing.

I heard Upwork is the place to go.

Do you have any advice on how to actually find clients, what works and what doesn't, etc.

I don't personally use Upwork to find work, but it can be a good way to access a wide range of opportunities, especially if you're looking to expand your client base.

I worked for Upwork years ago and the top freelancers focus on long term engagements so think high skill level projects. Low skill projects are a bit of a hustle on the platform but high skill projects results in longer term projects. Upwork and Fiverr are great places to start but remember that Fiverr is more short term engagements and Upwork offer a bit of both.
