Hey everyone! I'm curious about how many of you use mind maps and for what purposes. Additionally, I'm interested in knowing if any of you have used mind mapping tools that incorporate AI features. If so, what were the primary goals or tasks you used them for?
Looking forward to your insights!

I've used online whiteboarding tools like Figjam and Miro.
They have been in live mind-mapping sessions with teammates and sometimes clients in all scenarios.
Before the sessions, usually a day or two before, I've sometimes used AI to create an initial layout, and then I'll refine the board to prep it for the workshop.
I've never used AI during a live session, as it can sometimes be unpredictable.

Thank you, Kevin, for sharing your honest feedback and experience. I can relate to the challenges of running innovation workshops with corporate employees, management, or students. It's often awkward to rely on AI in live sessions, as it can sometimes feel unpredictable and exhausting for participants.
In the past, mind mapping tools have often treated the resulting mind map as the end product. This is similar to how many people in China view co-creation workshops as an experience, with the outputs seen as a mere intellectual journey without tangible value.
However, at Minduck, we believe that the mind map generated from brainstorming is just the starting point. We see it as the beginning of the user's creative journey.
Therefore, Our goal is to push users to create beyond the initial ideas, leveraging AI to drive further innovation and tangible outcomes.
Looking forward to any thoughts or experiences you have with this approach!
I love using mind maps for organizing my thoughts, and AI-powered tools make it so much easier.
