Do you use cold email to promote your product?

Hey Hunters, I am currently struggling with Notificationpro (https://notificationpro.simplef.net/). I have reached out to some users through Reddit DMs and Twitter, but I am now considering a cold email outreach strategy. Has anyone here tried a cold email strategy for product marketing? If so, what was your approach and what tools did you use?

I believe that before building in public, sending direct messages (DMs) may not work as well. That's why I don't plan on using cold emails to promote a product. Instead, Twitter provides a great platform to connect with and get closer to your target audience. Once you've built relationships with them, your promotional efforts can have a greater impact. :)

@joy_eom @psd You tried before? What was the result of it?

@joy_eom You are right. Twitter is awesome place to discover and connect with potential customers. I am exploring this right now.

@tanzirul_huda the majority of people ignore emails. It may be because the subject lines aren’t catchy enough but building in public would definitely help

@psd @tanzirul_huda I couldn't hear from anybody. So, that's why I moved to Twitter and Product Hunt.

@psd Great point. I think I have to focus on building an audience on Twitter and that can give a result as a beginner.
