Definitely! if the linking and linked web page share topical relevance and both are 'helpful content', in this case backlinks matter for ranking in the SERP.
🚀NOTE: Next week we're launching a platform - vevy.ai where you can add your website/specific URL and match with people to engage in backlink & guest blogging exchange based on the target keyword and desired DR.

@narminablb That's great! Do you have a notify page yet?
@rahul_agarwal23 yeap, here it is, https://www.producthunt.com/prod...
looking forward to your feedback!
Backlinks definitely still matter for your site visibility.
All else being equal, a site with strong backlinks from reputable and relevant websites will rank higher and attracts more visitors.
@natalia_toth Any AI out there that could help with the same?
@rahul_agarwal23 not sure about AI tools but our tool, Ranking Raccoon, helps you find vetted sites and request a link directly from the site admin :)
@natalia_toth Sounds Great! How can I try?
yeah... absolutely... your DOMAIN AUTHORITY (DA).... is significantly dependent on the number of back links you have... (FYI the DA of the back linking sites matter too)
@andrewcanday And how does the DA of a backlinking site affects?
Absolutely. Even with the recent Google algo leak confirms that links still matter.
Backlinking in SEO is like getting a high-five from popular websites - it definitely boosts your street cred with search engines! Just like a good espresso shot for your website ranking!
Yes, it is the second most important pillar of SEO.
@simplytedel And what are the other pillars?
@rahul_agarwal23 I am afraid I will not disclose that publicly on the Web. Take a SEO course or find a mentor.
