It is unlikely that the developers will be replaced soon, but some of them will definitely lose their jobs.

Developers are needed to build low-code or no-code platforms. :-)

No. Many software developers are playing with AI copilots etc but with mixed results on productivity. Over the past few months some of the gloss has come off and people are starting to have a better appreciation of the pros and cons. I think it's more likely that AI code assistants will be a productivity enhancer with no obvious effect on employment. RE Lo-code/No-code platforms - these have been around for ages and they're limiting and frustrating. They fill a niche, but won't replace purpose-built software development.

Not at all. I think nocode will enable end users to tap into the power of tech. That will actually create more developer jobs and freelancing needs. Same with AI it will just restructure dev jobs but not eliminate them
