Do you think LLMs represent a part of a larger stack or the all encompassing medium for AI use?

Imho, they are part of a larger stack.

LLMs (large language models) are a significant development in the field of artificial intelligence and have shown remarkable progress in various natural language processing tasks such as language modeling, machine translation, text classification, and question answering. However, LLMs are not the only form of AI and do not represent the entirety of the field. AI is a vast field that encompasses various subfields such as computer vision, robotics, machine learning, natural language processing, and more. LLMs are particularly suited for language-related tasks, but they are not well-suited for other types of tasks such as image recognition or data analysis. Therefore, LLMs can be seen as a part of the larger stack of AI technologies that are available for use. In summary, while LLMs are an essential development in the field of AI, they do not represent the entire field, and other AI technologies may be better suited for certain tasks.
