Companies have a social responsibility to protect their customers' data and privacy. Giving individuals more control over their data is a key part of fulfilling that responsibility.
Yes definitely – although the use of centralised databases/cloud would make it hard. I think the solution would be somewhere in web3 tools – decentralised identity and storage of personal data with permission access by AI systems or businesses.
Yes, I believe that individuals should be able to decide which data AI can use for them as well as where this data is stored and used. Furthermore, they should also receive a fair share of the benefits generated from using their own personal data.
