Do you think a demo page is useful for an extension?

I made a demo page for my extension. https://multifind.vgreco.fr/demo.html My feeling was that installing an extension could be a barrier to adoption. With the demo page you can test the extension without downloading nor installing it. What do you think? Could this page help? Did you try something similar for your extension or for another kind of product?

a demo page is essential for an extension as it not only allows potential users to understand the functionality before downloading, but it also serves as a credibility booster showcasing the hard work you've put into the extension! 🚀

@mrobinson_88 Thank you for your answer. I confess that transforming the extension into a standalone page has not been an easy task: I had to change a lot of the event mechanism (messages, keyboard). Perhaps if I had known from the beginning that this demo page would be a must, I would have written the extension differently to make this process easier.
