Do you prefer to express appreciation openly or secretly in your workplace?

Expressing openly would mean letting your other team members know.
Expressing secretly would mean sending a DM to the person you want to say thank you.

Of course, we have to use both ways, but there should be a better way to build a nice team culture. Also, I'm curious if you are using an app for this purpose.

I prefer to express appreciation openly. If you appreciate someone’s work, show it! There are enough people who are unappreciative. People will remember how you made them feel, so always make them feel good about their work.
