Do you need an MVP or do you need a Prototype?

In order to give a better pitch of your project's concept would you rather have a basic MVP or a Prototype? I see startups creating teams for an idea that hasn't even been validated while they could save lots of time and money with a simple functional prototype. What do you think?

We're creating an MVP. In my opinion, it is much more effective to gain users' experience in using a product as an MVP than just an opinion about its design or potential from a prototype.

Absolutely! Validation is crucial in the startup journey, but not everyone has the know-how, especially from a technical background. Some dive into building, launching, and gathering feedback. Prototypes help validate ideas, but building and having users provide feedback is another effective route!
