Yes, I have a side hustle project as a freelance writer. I enjoy writing and it's a great way to earn extra money.

@dev_donald and which industry do you work in full-time? When I was working full-time in publishing, I also had side projects as a writer, cause I enjoy writing. Now I work on several projects as a writer and immensely enjoy the opportunity to write daily not just as a side hustle but as my primary occupation.

No, I don't have a side hustle project. I prefer to focus on my full-time job so that I can do my best work.

@stella_nerd That's a really focused approach! Have you ever considered trying a side project, or is there something specific about dedicating yourself to one main job that you find particularly rewarding?
Outlivo
@stella_nerd Well, you can try collabing with other product makers in free time if the product interests you.

I wouldn't call some of these side hustles. They're more like passion projects. For example, I learned a lot about building websites with WordPress when I started my own business. I could, if I wanted to, teach this in an online course, but it's a crowded space and I'm more inclined to put what I know to my own work and my own website. I'm also into photography and have done some gigs (mainly for events). However, it's not something I plan to turn into a side hustle even though I have been offering my services pro bono for volunteer work. Photography for interest and photography for work are quite different. I think it's good to have a separation between what you do to earn a living and what you do because you're passionate about it. While it's true that the stuff we're passionate about often have little economic value, it's probably because we have not seriously considered converting it into a income-generating project. Sometimes that happens when you're forced into it, e.g. when people get laid off and have "no other" choices.
