Get a mentor. The thing is most of educational resources get you an overall overview. But there are high chances that even if you will do everything "correctly", you won't get the needed results / kpi's for some time. And it can be stressful. Like, "i don't know what i don't know" type of situation. Of course, you can start to test things, but with a person to ask, this period will be a lot easier and you will grow much faster. I guess, it's always good to have an experienced person to rely on, but i think it's especially helpful at the start of career

When I first started out in my marketing career, I felt overwhelmed and unsure of where to begin. I had a lot of ideas, but didn't know how to turn them into a cohesive strategy. Here are a few pieces of advice that I wish I had known when I was starting out: 1. Start small and build up your skills. Marketing is a vast field, and it's impossible to know everything. Focus on learning one aspect of marketing at a time, and then build upon that foundation. This could be social media, email marketing, or even copywriting. 2. Don't be afraid to ask for help. No one expects you to know everything, and there are plenty of people who are willing to help you out. Whether it's a mentor, a colleague, or even a friend, don't be afraid to ask for guidance or clarification. 3. Be open to feedback. When you're starting out, you'll likely make mistakes. This is completely normal and is part of the learning process. However, it's important to be open to feedback and take it on board. This will help you improve and grow in your career. 4. Network and make connections. Marketing is all about relationships, so it's important to network and make connections within your industry. Attend events, join online groups, and reach out to people you admire in the industry. You never know where these connections may lead. 5. Have fun and be yourself. Marketing is a creative field, and it's important to enjoy what you do. Don't be afraid to bring your own personality and perspective to your work. It will make you stand out and make your marketing campaigns more authentic and engaging. Overall, my advice for those starting out in their marketing career is to be patient, stay curious, and don't be afraid to ask for help. With hard work and a little bit of luck, you'll be on your way to a successful and fulfilling career in marketing.
