Do you feel like any of the new AI tools are really gaining traction?

Besides for ChatGPT it doesn’t seem like any of the others have been catching the cultural zeitgeist in the same way. On the enterprise side, seems like Zapier-style automations and customer service bots have become very hot.

Claude Sonnet Artifact. I think every developer should give it a try. We've always heard that AI will replace a lot of programmers' work, but we haven't reached that point yet. Claude has shown me that the era of instant generation and use of customized Apps is coming.

@zenda1122 true! The AI developer tools seem to have become a normal part of many devs’ workflows already

You're right, ChatGPT has the spotlight, but there's a quiet hum with other tools. Generative AI for creative content is bubbling, and AI-powered image editing is quietly transforming design workflows. It's less "singularity" and more "steady infiltration.

ChatGPT has a strong first-mover advantage. My sense is that a lot of people feel like now that they "know" ChatGPT, they are "all set" But wait til they try Gemini, as integrated with sheets, docs, and Gmail, plus Gemeini's chat interface. Google AI market penetration is only beginning.

Have you used Gemini much, @rowemore? AI quality is really not there compared to ChatGPT or Claude
Rowe Morehouse
@danielxli Sure, I use all three. I use the Gemini models via Google AI Studio and Google Vertex AI interfaces. I am not sure how you gauge "quality" .. but neither Claude nor ChatGPT integrate and operate inside the Google Workspace context as fluidly as the Gemini stuff. The traction & marketplace penetration for Google AI products is only beginning -- think of the massive scale of the installed base. OpenAi still has a significant first-mover advantage in many respects, though, you're right.

Which interface are you using, which model, in order to come to this conclusion? curious.

While ChatGPT shines bright, enterprise is quietly buzzing with AI for automation and customer service!

ChatGPT IS A good tool I think it is very useful in learning and exploring. I am using this AI in my web wade benz nashville tn obituary. But using ChatGPT is a technical theme.

Great question! Looks like tools that circle around user problems and integrate AI as part of the package get traction. While "AI for X" value prop doesn't do the job anymore.

I feel they will gain traction once people see how they can help them. I introduced my husband to chat GPT last night and his mind was blown. He spent the rest of the night rewriting his resume for a job he was applying to. Amazing.

I feel good about some new, nishe AI product - and feel really excited to use them

We're getting a decent amount of traction for our AI tech - But we've spent insane amounts of energy building it, contrary to most others who simply bought 500 likes and upvotes on PH thinking they'd capitalise on marketing a shallow product doing ipso facto nothing ... :/
