Digital nomads, yay or nay?

Hey guys, I'm curious to hear your opinions on this topic.
I personally have been recently to Madeira, with my wife, and we LOVED it over there. Such a large community of digital nomads with plenty of events, coworkings, and beautiful places & people.
We're totally considering trying to get the habit of doing a month or so of remote work from there whenever we can. Are you guys also doing things like that?
Also, is any of you using some platform for home swapping?

@gyrusinczky Yeah! Such a magical place, really. Spent 10 days there and would have wanted to stay at least a month more.
@gabriele_mazzola I feel you!✊🏻 It's often called as the European Hawaii.🫠🙌🏻

As a digital marketer, I find the concept of digital nomadism fascinating. It offers a unique opportunity to blend work and travel, fostering creativity and personal growth.
@zekiye_nur_kesici Totally agree. When working from there I felt a crazy energy in me! Recommend it to everyone!
Had a great time working remotely in Mexico and Indonesia, definitely couldn’t do it full time but was great to do for a bit! Honestly I’m just no where near as efficient, internet connectivity can be quite dodgy.
@gabriele_mazzola I’ll be using a portable starlink for my next remote working trip, they are amazing!
I was two times in South Africa for a workation. I really liked it. Would love to do it more often but my girlfriend unfortunately can't work abroad. Good to hear that you and your wife can do this together!
In Cape Town is a big digital nomads community as well. Best month are March and April, because the high season is coming to an end but it's still super beautiful. Can totally recommend it.
@gabriele_mazzola nice! Yes food and wine is great down there. Almost that good than Italian wine ;) Good place to spend the European winters
@marvin_maendle So very true! We actually did in Cape Town too, as we have some very dear friends living right in the center of the city! It's so lovely!
Also, coming from Italy, I totally appreciated the amazing wine they got down there!
