Did you know that the share price of Meta increases when people use Instagram or WhatsApp?

This has led to Facebook users creating nearly $450bn in wealth - more than the entire GDP of around 150 countries, including New Zealand and Nigeria.

I find this quite interesting. How does that work exactly? Are you saying that more people purchase shares of Meta due to usage? That would make sense to me. If that is the case, are you saying that if there are fewer people using these platforms, people are more likely to sell their stock? It would be interesting to see a comparison chart of the stock price and usage side-by-side.

ChatWise Messenger
@kyle_tummonds Thanks for your comment. Facebook has 1.9bn active users, and company is valued at c$450 billion, valuing each user at just over $230 give or take. Twitter was sold for $44bn, with just under 200m active users, also valuing at each user at just around $200. Whilst many factors affect valuation, Social networks are predominantly valued by the number of active users on the platform, so each user typically brings value to shares. But all that wealth goes to a few who hold shares, for example Mark Zuckerberg for Meta. Chatwise is aiming to disperse equity shares around the world where users are, so they can directly own the value.

Interesting topic. It seems that the company has been losing users. The way Zukerberg is trying to change the trends and win people's minds again makes me wonder if he will be able to do so.
No I didn't, but I find it pretty interesting

Interesting fact! Speaking of Facebook, have you heard of Whatsapp GB? It's a modified version of Whatsapp that offers some additional features like customizable themes, increased file sharing size limits, and more. However, it's important to note that using third-party apps like Whatsapp GB can potentially compromise your privacy and security, so it's best to be cautious.
