Developers, what's the hardest part about building a portfolio?

I have a product that I have been developing and released, but would like community feedback on what aspect I should be focusing on, is it hard to find good guides to launching and hosting a portfolio? Or harder to find good inspiration?

Picking projects that showcase range without overwhelming visitors - less is more.

Try to focus on 2-3 impactful projects that demonstrate your top skills. Tailor the portfolio to the specific role you're targeting. And don't forget to include concise, engaging descriptions to provide context for each project. Quality over quantity!

For sure pick projects that are full stack and showcase both frontend and backend skills. I like to have a clean landing page with basic info and links, then 3-5 real-world projects with code on GitHub. Def keep it simple and focus on quality over quantity. Recruiters don't have time to dig through a ton of random stuff. Hope that helps!

Finding a balance between showcasing enough projects without overcrowding the page is tough. I want to highlight my best work but not overwhelm visitors!
