Doing it on a regular basis, but not always have time to make some experiments. And what will be your advice?

@claudio_afonso_78 Thanks for emphasizing the importance of a thoughtful and iterative approach to experimentation!
@oxana_ivanova Experiment as often as you can. But it's important to identify and isolate a small group of loyal customers who are open to your experimentation and willing to try new things. I advise that you seek their feedback before you test on a wider group of users. Experimentation is the name of the game.
Haven't done it yet, how often should one keep doing it?
@swayammi7 I answered both you and Oxana in one. Hope it helps :)
Thanks for your answers

TLDR;
Short answer to the frequency: Once per year, or whenever you hit a major milestone.
Long answer;
The frequency of design reviews depends on various factors, including the pace of your industry changes, the evolution of your business strategy, and technological advancements (specific to you, and in general - if they've changed user expectations).
Here are some *very* general guidelines:
Looking at it through a Business Needs lens – Quarterly to twice a year.
Regularly assess whether the product/service aligns with your evolving business goals. This will allow you to make adjustments based on shifts in strategy, target audience, or market conditions.
From a Customer Needs perspective - Once or twice a year.
Conducting user feedback sessions and usability testing at least twice a year will help you to understand evolving customer needs. This helps ensure that your digital product remains user-friendly and meets the expectations of your audience. Think about how fast customer needs changed with the onset of CV-19 - it left many organizations behind and positioned others as new leaders.
Through a Brand Positioning lens - Annually.
Evaluate the design elements and overall user experience once per year to confirm that your product or service still aligns with your brand positioning. Consider industry trends and competitor analysis to stay ahead.
From a Technology and Design Trends standpoint - Twice per year.
Stay updated on technological advancements and design trends. Assess whether your digital product leverages the latest technologies and design practices to maintain competitiveness.
Again, things can change rapidly, and with that, customer expectations of what is acceptable. If you're not committed to regular design reviews, you risk becoming outdated, or worse, irrelevant.
Whenever you experience a major updates or milestone.
After major updates, rebranding, or other significant milestones, perform a design review to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
These are very general recommendations, but I hope they help shed some light on the matter.
In summary, ultimately, how often you perform design reviews varies based on your specific industry, product lifecycle, and business dynamics. Regular monitoring, feedback collection, and staying attuned to industry changes are key to maintaining a successful product or service.
I hope that helps.

@swayammi7 @claudio_afonso_78 Claudio, wow! thanks for such a detailed and full response! I totally agree that it really depends on lots of factors. I'm looking at this point from PO, PM side and this is really important to track user analytics, behaviour and make adjustments to improve the main metrics
