Myth 2️⃣ You have to work with agencies to get votes You'll see so many groups advertising 'guaranteed upvotes' in exchange for a hefty sum. My advice: you don't have to splurge money on getting paid votes. Make community building your silver bullet! Myth 3️⃣ You should have a huge team to gather support A company with 100+ employees launched on the same day as us. But our team of 4 collaborated perfectly to expand our network before the launch and gather support from across the world. Myth 4️⃣ Your product should be 100% perfect We planned this launch because we were ready to get in front of a bigger audience, collect feedback, and optimize the product rigorously. The launch brought us excellent feedback to take us to 100% and beyond. Myth 5️⃣ You have to push hard to get maximum upvotes in the start It took us four hours to get to the #1 spot. We didn't want to reach all our supporters at once to get to the first place, especially when votes are hidden for 4 hours. We took a staggered approach to create an upward engagement curve. Congrats on your launch @vartika_bansal1 Followed Floik's launch closely... Your team was able to build a sustained momentum on launch day. But I guess, the bigger takeaway is - working hard to bake the user feedback into product experience always pays back !
