  • ⛔ Cons for 2-Factor Authentication?

    Not everyone is eager to set up their 2-factor authentication, for varied reasons like privacy. It can get annoying to check a mobile device in order to enter a code, and also this mobile device dependence when it comes to this is an inconvenience as well. I'm sure there might be more, would like to see what others have to say about this.

    @chris_sarca Hi Chris, yes, I share your concerns to some extent. The annoyance factor from the user side seems to be a common struggle.

    Make it optional for those who care or not about privacy/security. Adopt it, it cost almost nothing to implement it. Or you can use the new standard WebAuth with U2F Token, you won't need passwords anymore!

    @steevep I like the adoption possibility! I also like mobile apps that contain keying information stored in a user's browser.
