Case: MedTech startup failed an important demo for investors (and fixed product at zero cost)

It was a seed round, and one of the crusual demo for a customer. The demo was going well until the app went down entirely with 404 error. Scary dream for any founder, right? The startup needed to get up and running in no time: - Fix the current problems. - Make sure this doesn't happen again at the next demo to other investors. - Quickly prepare new features and not distract developers with endless bug fixes And do it all with zero budget for quality assurance. Sounds impossible, right? Fortunately, I as a QA lead with 20+ years of experience, and a few QA interns who needed to get some practice on a real project were around. Within two months, we not only found and helped reduce a significant number of defects but also created/refined product reqs (this greatly relieves the burden on the product owner!). The interns gained invaluable experience and the startup founder solved all his problems. Win-Win.
