We're developing a tool that extracts well-being metrics from Slack and Microsoft Teams data, making it easy for everyone to interpret team dynamics and foster a supportive environment. We'd love to hear your thoughts! What factors might influence your decision to use this tool, and what challenges could arise?

Super interesting idea, would love to see how this evolves! If it’s analysing message content, one complication I can see is an organisations reluctance to a third party potentially seeing sensitive information, and being privy to new initiatives etc. Another would be that, depending on the person, message content and tone etc might not reflect the the true nature of how they’re feeling or what’s going on. For example, I would purposely sound calm and chilled on Slack while I’m stressing out of my mind to shield the rest of the team. Vice versa, my previous co-founder would be super abrupt on Slack, and some of the messages can sound harsh, like “XXX, this needs to be reworked ASAP”, but he’s doing that just as a status update for others after having a very friendly huddle with XXX. Hope that helps! Depending on how it all works, I would definitely use it within a team!

@navinpeiris Thanks a lot for your feedback! Accuracy and privacy are among our main concerns and challenges, but also among our value propositions. An "early access" version is coming up soon; I'll keep you informed.

It's interesting. We are working on a related product that is oriented around team accountability that includes making commitments to respond to automated nudges (questions/requests) from another team member. These can be on any topic, including mental health. The information is shared privately in DMs. I'd be happy to explore opportunities to collaborate.
