Yes
Bing + chatGPT would kill Google search business

It will be interesting to see how quickly Microsoft can integrate ChatGPT into Bing and if the chatbot's accuracy meets the company's standards. And with Google declaring ChatGPT a "code red" threat and mobilizing teams to respond to it, it looks like the battle for search supremacy is heating up! 🔥
@venkat_reddy_chintalapudi but do you think google will not react on this ? 😃
@ankitsharmaofficial, google would react for sure. But this changed the way we search and all the players in the search market needs to adopt this to be in the business
@ankitsharmaofficial 😃😃😃
@ankitsharmaofficial from what I understand the compute power is not that expensive - the bill is just really high because so many people are using it at the moment. They're gonna make a ton of money once they monetize. I also read somewhere they projected 1b net profit in 2 years or something like that.
ChatGPT has the tendency to repeat itself so at the moment I'd say no...
@anoirhoumou yeh and Google must have started thinking about it
It may be just a supplement, not a subversion.
hope google also going to release the chatGPT like functionality.
@tommy_anand agree, Google will not remain silent.

Only if Google is complacent. Google's LLMs & infra are far more capable. Microsoft's Bing integration plan will likely provide the impetus for Google to start releasing their models. I don't think Google will sit by and watch ChatGPT eat their lunch.
Hey there,
It's definitely possible that ChatGPT could give Google a run for its money in the AI world. With its advanced capabilities and impressive performance, ChatGPT has already made waves in the field and is definitely a force to be reckoned with. That being said, Google is going to launch competing AI prototypes and products by mid-2023.
Who knows, maybe we'll see a ChatGPT vs. Google showdown this year already! 😉
