Let's ask AI itself about it :-) I'm copying below what ChatGPT by OpenAI has replied to your question: "While AI has the potential to automate many tasks that were previously performed by humans, it is not yet capable of fully replacing human interaction, particularly in complex and nuanced situations such as customer service. AI systems are typically designed to perform specific tasks and follow predetermined rules, so they may struggle to adapt to unexpected or changing situations that require creativity, empathy, or judgment. In the context of customer service, AI systems can be used to handle routine or repetitive tasks, such as answering frequently asked questions or providing basic information. However, for more complex or sensitive issues, human customer service agents may still be necessary to provide personalized and human-like assistance. Additionally, even when AI systems are used to handle customer service tasks, they may still need to be supervised and monitored by human agents to ensure that they are functioning properly and providing the desired level of service. Overall, while AI has the potential to automate many tasks and improve efficiency in customer service, it is not yet capable of fully replacing human interaction in all cases. Instead, AI and human interaction are likely to continue to coexist and complement each other in the field of customer service". PS: I'm so fascinated by what it's capable to digest and produce! Can't stop playing with it for the last few days))

I addressed customer services that work with AI technologies. At first, it seemed interesting, but I ended up asking to contact me with a real manager. So, I don't think AI can replace human interaction. In my opinion, it is better for business owners to look for better customer service solutions https://www.mycustomer.com/commu... and work on the things people don't like about their businesses. This is a good way to attract more clients.

I think that in some moments artificial intelligence can help and save quite a lot of time on routine customer support duties. But full immersion and interaction with the client will still require the personal presence of a specialist to resolve critical issues and requests. You can read more about this on Amazon vs eBay to understand what I'm talking about and why it's so important. Customer focus will always play a major role in interaction with the consumer.

Of course - it's already being done 👀

I don't think so, there are a lot of things AI can't do right now and one is, the TONE of the customer. Tone is an overlooked form of communication.

Not entirely. Unfortunately, A.I. doesn't have the power to waive the unauthorized charges from my bill. It requires supervisor/human approval. :D
