I see so many new tools claiming to be able to detect AI, and I see many negative opinions and bad experiences they had with these tools from big content creators ))
So what is your take on this?

No, not with the conviction you want. I uploaded my old college assignments onto these tools to get a benchmark, a lot of them were flagged as atleast 40-50% AI written.
There is a popular Twitter (X) thread on this. You should read when you find some time: https://x.com/paulg/status/17770...
Paul Graham received a lot of backlash from the non-native English speaking users - Africans, Indians, etc.
And, these tools do not take into account the diversity among English speaking users. Hence, not very accurate - at least one of the significant reasons why these tools are not accurate.

Alex is right, Quillbot's detector is great. But real talk - unless it's for school, who cares if you use AI? Focus on creating value, not how you made it.
@simonas_kauzonas we are not using any detectors with our writers )) But I was generally interested to know as I see so many debates on this from both sides. I agree with you.
Yep
