    I've personally tried both and I've found that blogging is not only a platform for sharing thoughts but can also become a source of income over time.

    Blogging takes too long to get traction and social media frustrates the hell out of me. But, if I had to choose, I'd go social media. It's more immediate and easier to connect with others so you're not creating valuable content without anyone seeing it. Maybe I'm just impatient?     @bill_harris Yes it's a good point. But for me it's quite hard to come up with "short" form like social media posts. I'd better write a longread :D
