I'm a big fan of founders and makers who write well. Recently I understood that it's a skill and it's trainable. And I want to get better at writing! Just finished "Smart brevity" & reading "Dryers English". Both are great but are better for professional media. Got any recommendations?

I couldn't agree more, @kostyabolsh. Here's my approach - (1) 30 min of free writing everyday, (2) reading a lot, and (3) writing for my business and clients. Some books I'm reading or read recently- Salman Khan - Brave new words Ezra Klean - Why we're polarized Ethan Mollick - Co-intelligence

"A Swim in a Pond in the Rain" by George Saunders – is the best source of understanding the reader's emotions. Can also recommend the "Dadiv Sedaris - Storytelling and Humour" course from masterclass.com, if you have a subscription (is more about the vision and mindset of great stories). Both are not technical, but I don't think it matters :)

Hi Kostya, when I used to work at an ad agency, I saw many of my ex-colleagues read best-selling authors (because of storytelling) – and it is true. They are the best for no reason. So follow the best movies, best scriptwriters, directors etc. You will pick up some styles from them and add something to yours.
