What is the best and most affordable Marketing Technology stack for launching side projects?
Currently, my must have's are:
- Carrd
- Google Analytics
- Mailerlite
- Godaddy domain name
- Crisp chatbox
Keen to hear what else exists out there!

You can use my app if you want for Free. It's called LogHarvestor. It's lightweight log collecting tool :)

But I have heard good things about SendGrid!
Also @jacquelinclem mentioned on another discussion a good alternative to Google Analytics. -> https://plausible.io/
Side Project OS
@jacquelinclem @solomon_bush I'll check out Log Harvestor! Plausible looks very promosing - always on the look out for a GA alternative!
Marshmallow Icon Kit
@solomon_bush @hugh_dawkins let us know if you loved them :)
Ramen.Tools
I would add :
- Google Webmaster Tools
- ChartMogul (Subscription Analytics, if your side-project is a SaaS)
- Splitbee.io (Conversion Analytics, you could use its free plan instead of Google Analytics)
- Serpivore (SERP Analytics, free plan, if you plan to optimize SEO on your side project)
And personally I prefer Namecheap for the domain name.
Side Project OS
@samuelpigny Will give it a go! Thanks for sharing
Side Project OS
@samuelpigny Love this! How do you find Splitbee compared to GA?
Ramen.Tools
@hugh_dawkins I found it a bit confusing at first but it's definitely more minimalist and privacy-focused than Google Analytics. I plan to use it for split tests mostly. For basic analytics I use my own server-side script at the moment. Some people would also recommend UseFathom or Plausible, they do not have free plan but great products and teams.
Usersnap
ActiveCampaign for marketing automation
Miro for collaboration
Usersnap for feedback from testers & users
