hey PH fam, been noticing a surge in wellness apps lately. it's heartening to see tech prioritizing mental health. for devs in this space: always respect user data privacy. it's more than just a feature, it's trust. users: always ensure the apps you use handle your sensitive info with care. and remember, tech is most impactful when it respects and uplifts. anyone else spotting trends or want to shoutout an app that's doing it right? much love.

i think we are seeing a mirror of our society. I consider myself also an mental health app developer with my latest journaling app. it came out of necessity. There is almost no journaling app which doesnt store data on a server and this is how memoiri was born. I built it in a way to fit my needs.

That's a fact, There should be "trust". And also they must be "scientific" or "evidence based".

@msinan_psyd I try to add the scientific part to my journaling app but i always find it hard to find something that isn't just nice to know but also applicable knowledge

@msinan_psyd agree to 'scientific' and 'evidence-based' even if they are in the wellness category (i.e. not subject to medical device regulations). that helps build the trust
