Aside from Product Hunt, where else do you post your app launches?

I realised how strong a good backlink is for SEO and just overall visibility of your application but I do not want to start paying for backlinks or features in other websites or marketing agencies. Are there other well known public forums like producthunt that you use?

It depends on who your target audience is. Research where they are, the channels they use. Could be Discord, a Reddit community, LinkedIn Group etc., use PH as your primary centre and reach out from there. Backlinks are becoming increasingly irrelevant. Always meet your audience where they are. Remember, marketing is still more art than science.

Hear about https://betalist.com/ a lot
@cameronscully_ but it seems it takes a while to be accepted
@alessio_mavica Nope! Not yet! I will! But I don't know when.

I just learned about DevHunt (https://devhunt.org/); it seems like PH but specializes in developer tools. And since we are building a dev tool, we plan on launching there next.
I'm struggling with backlinks as well.
Social media and most of these platforms are using nofollow links.
I was also accepted on AWS startups and I'm trying Betalist.
Any other suggestions?

@alessio_mavica I'm also on AWS Startups. Made a showcase page here https://aws.amazon.com/startups/... and posted in the Slack community, but doesn't seem to have any impact.
