Are you overwhelmed with so many AI tools?

I see that so many AI tools are getting launched every single day. Do you use any AI tool? If so please share it in the comments. I've created an AI tool that helps you use AI quickly and productively on any website. It's called QuickyAI, let me know what you think.

Congrats in advance for your upcoming launch @basharath !πŸŽ‰ Wish you all the best! πŸ’― Well, as long as they're something that is actually useful and interesting, I would be interested in checking them. Hey, just checked your website while I was writing, it looks really cool and time saving, clicked the 'Notify me' button! Btw, I'm also launching soon! If you're interested, check out the AI business name generator I'll be launching (https://www.producthunt.com/prod...) Let's go together! πŸ’ͺ πŸš€

@mpilo I've been actively trying to find tools that don't have AI mentioned in their description on the product leaderboard. It's getting harder and harder πŸ˜‚

There's a tonne right? I used......ChatGPT....that's it. Most of the other ones I've seen provide very mild advantages.
Basharath
@jordans Yeah, I like ChatGPT too but just to get bit more productive to use it, I created my own wrapper around it.

@jordans did you the Translation Strings launch today? It is my launch, an internal tool released to the world.. but I would argue this does not just have mild advantages. We were able to use this to translate the whole app itself in not more than a coffee break into 7 languages and mark what should and should not be translated...

there are many useless tools launcehd everyday that are to similar to chatgpt. Really interesting are ai's that are revolutional or bring forward an existing tool like https://flutterflow.io/ai-gen.html that uses ai to extend and make the product easier and faster. Does rip of chatgpt tools which gets launched everyday on here are really useless mostly. Personally i only use chatgpt daily and sometimes midjourney
Tej Garikapati
The problem is most AI tools are just repackaged chatgpt. You don't add some additional functionality to it, people would rather go and use chatgpt itself. That said, we will see more and more of these AI tools coming up in the next few weeks. Like it or not, it's a sugar rush at the moment. Some will loose, some will win.

I use my own. It records and analyzes every conversation. Prepares meeting notes, task lists, risk analysis, and follow up communication. Https://www.traq.ai. The feedback from users is "it's amazing".

I find the issue is the sheer volume... then figuring out which are worth my time and which are not is so time-consuming that it is not worth the search. Sometimes ChatGPT is slow, and in these instances, it is quicker just to engage my brain and write or read on my own! The word limitation of 3.5 makes it impractical for big web pages, and the speed of gpt4.. well.. what I said above.
Basharath
@john_carmichael Yeah, I faced this situation. I wanted a UI recently using TailwindCSS I asked ChatGPT the answer was so bad, hence I went with my own solution. I haven't tried GPT4 yet, let's see how quick it's going to be.

Would love to know your thoughts on my little app launch today "Translation Strings" - built as an internal tool but I was pushed to stick it on here by friends :D
Igor Pavlov
No. Eventually most will dissolve. Only useful ones will stay and those that are difficult to compete with. Yours looks cool :)
Basharath
@igorpavlov Yeah, and I don't understand if there's such demand for these. Anyway as you said useful ones stay. Thank you :)

Yes , we need AI to tell now which AI tool should we use haha
Andreas MΓΈller
Yes absolutely, But I kinda just checked out for a bit. I think the worst hype will die down soon, and the actually valuable products will stay :)
Basharath
@andreas_toddle When this hype will go away?
Andreas MΓΈller
@basharath We are definitely entering new times, and AI will impact every industry, but right now 50% of what you read is probably just hype. It will take a little time to learn what the big changes are gonna be. 99% of the content about AI is written by people who know absolutely nothing about AI. I expect were are gonna see a huge amount of failed AI startups in the coming years. As well as ofc some really successful ones.
Andreas MΓΈller
@basharath Just to be clear I am absolutely not talking about QuickAI 🀣. Just a general observation about the hype around AI Atm.
Francesco Improta
We will truly unleash AI when it'll be integrated into the tools we already use on a daily basis.

Yes, overwhelmed by all of these AI tools and don't know which ones to use !!! I like it! It looks easy to use and has some great features. I can definitely see myself using this in my projects.

The amount of tools riding on ChatGPT is mindboggling!

I think so, because Im not very technical and still don't use a lot of AI stuff at my work. I have FOMO. Every day sounds like I bought a ticket on the wrong bus. Should I switch to AI industry to fintech or build something on the edge of both areas?

Regarding your AI tool, QuickyAI, it sounds interesting and could potentially be useful for people who want to use AI more efficiently on websites. I would need more information about the tool and how it works before providing specific feedback. However, it's great to see new tools and technologies being developed that can help make AI more accessible and user-friendly for people. Good luck with your product!
