How do you track and prioritize all the information from different systems?

Totally get the overwhelm! I use a combo of tools like Todoist for tasks and priorities, and Unroll.me to declutter my inbox

It's manageable if you're using only 1 form of communication for work like Slack for example. I usually just check my email from time to time since most of our communication is thru Slack.

@rondo I understand the worry, but the majority of these services have stringent privacy guidelines. Be sure to read their policy before using, though.

@timobechtel Jumping from task to task is proven to decrease our productivity by over 20% anyway so you are absolutely right of doing so! Distraction-blocking website browsers definitely help, I started using Sidekick lately and already noticing the difference

Personally I can only really focus on one thing at a time. That's why I always turn off any notifications, so that when I get notified, I know that it's important. This way I can open a tool, let's say mail, and focus on this particular tool for a period of time, before I switch to another one.
