Are you more productive when you work alone or as part of a team, and why?

Teamwork makes the dreamwork

Mnn, it depends. I love the teaming when it isn't noisy and distractive. Outside that, working alone is a go for me. But team work helps.
Always as a team. Shared trauma I guess 😂
But jokes apart, it's always great to have people to share your little milestones with.
A mix of both of both personally!

When I am working alone I tend to be more productive on the other hand, as part of the team I get distracted easily 😁😁
Mostly I am on the side of team work as I have a batch of ideas but validating them - it is what is most critical for me
I find a balance between solo work and teamwork most productive. Working alone allows for deep focus, while teamwork brings diverse perspectives and collaboration. Both are essential for maximizing productivity.
There is no one answer to this unfortunately :)

@santosh_bagalkot1 hehe, so a mix of both then... actually it's the same with me too... At times I like working alone and sometimes I enjoy working with a team!

Depends on the team but mostly alone. With a good team I work well in a team as well. Really depends.

Alone when I need to concentrate, with a team when I need more ideas to consult :)
Working on my own is perfect when I am doing self things that doesn’t involve or require external effort, however working on Team is always amazing, getting different perspectives and ideas

@kouley_moussa_adoum true, the upside of working in a team is getting perspectives of different people
I enjoy working on my own and work on my own all the time for the past 3 years., but sometimes I miss working with others in the same room. I am most productive when no one is distracting me, but I feel like sometimes a lot more can be achieved in a team environment.

@simona_o_neill3 I guess the best part of working with a team is enjoying the company! No doubt you have less distractions while you work alone, but at times you miss the company of a team
I prefer to start projects alone to lay the groundwork and then collaborate with a team to refine and expand on those ideas.
This way, I get the best of both worlds.
I work as a team and alone. Sometimes more productive as a team, sometime as an individual. It just depends.
But lately, I've been teaming up with AI to get things done, so you can call that teamwork productivity? HA!
Actually, we just launched our product today (BoodleBox) where teams and AIs can collaborate to increase productivity!

@meredith_lancaster hehe, I guess we're all teaming up with AI!! Happy to support your launch, all the best :)
Not alone, but in small teams. When you have a big team and people need you, they bomb you with messages and calls that break your working flow. Switching context too often is a productivity killer.
It is easier to work alone, because the team needs to be motivated and guided. Here is a cool article about it, by the way: https://jetsoftpro.com/blog/the-...
But there are such volumes of work, when you can no longer cope alone, then a team is not a choice, it is a necessity

It actually depends on the task. So, a mix of both.
I definitely prefer teamwork—by looking at tasks from different perspectives, we can solve them more quickly.
